About

I’d class myself as a Landscape and Documentary photographer, but I’ve always struggled with labels.

I was born in Leeds, Yorkshire and now live near Wantage, Oxfordshire.

I first studied photography at Crosskeys College, South Wales where I spent 2 inspirational years living and studying in the Welsh Valleys, Newport, Cardiff, the coast of the Bristol Channel as well as spending many hours exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park. I gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Fine Art Photography from the University of Derby’s famous School of Art and Design in 1996 - finding this out at my final show was one of the proudest and most treasured moments in my life.
